A soft fluffy cake loaded with colourful tutti frutti sounds like a fun cake to eat. I have used homemade tutti frutti in this eggless tutti frutti cake. It is completely free of preservatives and the taste is uncompromised. You can use a simple vanilla sponge cake recipe to make this eggless tutti frutti cake.
I have used wholemeal flour to make the eggless tutti frutti cake. Also I have baked it in a loaf tin making it more tutti frutti loaf than a cake. But then who’s to judge, it’s all fun to eat! Adding yogurt or buttermilk to cake makes the crumb really soft and moist. Use good vanilla to flavour your cake, makes a lot of difference. Avoid using artificial vanilla or other flavouring substances in the interest of taste and health. ... “Eggless Tutti Frutti Cake | Tutti Frutti Loaf | Cake Recipes”

Colourful and fun, homemade tutti frutti for ice creams and baking

As a child I was always fascinated with colourful tutti frutti pieces. I used to like munching on them straight out of the packet. But good tutti frutti is always hard to find as most of them have artificial colours and preservatives. So how about we learn making tutti frutti at home today?
Like with many confectionary items, tutti frutti can be used to make bread, cakes, biscuits and ice cream. It can also be used as topping in many chilled drinks such as mango lassi. I have already posted dil-pasand recipe and used it in thick and delicious mango mastani. Next up however is super delicious eggless tutti frutti ice cream. ... “Tutti Frutti | Homemade Tutti Frutti | Homemade Recipes”

Mango combined with ice cream is a match made in heaven. The taste of  magnificent mangoes with the chilled sweetness of creamy ice cream makes this chilled drink very special! Mango mastani has ripe mangoes and vanilla or mango ice cream is a speciality drink from Maharashtra!
It is thicker than mango milkshake and has a big scoop of ice cream on top. But the most important thing is the addition of toppings. Toppings in the form of pistachios, tutti frutti, cherries take this mango mastani to another level. ... “Mango Mastani | Mango Recipes”

Mango Lassi | How to make mango lassi?

Thick creamy mango lassi

Chilled mango lassi on a hot afternoon sounds too good. Lassi is a very thick yogurt based drink with lots of cream/malai floating on top. Instead of adding thick full fat yogurt I have added very thick buttermilk and a little yogurt/curd for flavour. It will taste very good especially with mango and there is no compromise with flavour. Try other mango recipes! ... “Mango Lassi | How to make mango lassi?”

Dil Pasand | Tutti Frutti Stuffed Bread

Childhood favourite, colourful, fruity, dil pasand, tutti-frutti stuffed bread

The most sought-after, after school treat of the 90’s. Dil Pasand along with Dil Kush were the two types of special stuffed breads available in bakeries. Old style Iyengar bakeries still do sell them. I love the tutti frutti pieces along with the coconut filling inside the bread. The outer cover is a soft and layered sweet milk bread. It tastes so good when eaten warm directly out of the oven. It truly is one of my ‘dil pasand’ (liked) snacks. There are quite a few steps to make this, plan your recipe well, I have given some pointers to make, baking dil pasand a joy! ... “Dil Pasand | Tutti Frutti Stuffed Bread”
