A soft fluffy cake loaded with colourful tutti frutti sounds like a fun cake to eat. I have used homemade tutti frutti in this eggless tutti frutti cake. It is completely free of preservatives and the taste is uncompromised. You can use a simple vanilla sponge cake recipe to make this eggless tutti frutti cake.
I have used wholemeal flour to make the eggless tutti frutti cake. Also I have baked it in a loaf tin making it more tutti frutti loaf than a cake. But then who’s to judge, it’s all fun to eat! Adding yogurt or buttermilk to cake makes the crumb really soft and moist. Use good vanilla to flavour your cake, makes a lot of difference. Avoid using artificial vanilla or other flavouring substances in the interest of taste and health.
Add some chopped dry nuts like cashews, almonds and pistachios. Raisins also are a good addition to this eggless tutti frutti cake. Enjoy the end of year festivities! Try more tutti frutti based recipes, dil pasand, tutti frutti ice cream, mango mastani etc.

Hi, can we substitute oil with butter or any other ingredients?
Hi Raghav, yes, you can use melted butter instead of oil.
