Banana dates milkshake provides instant energy and the best part is no external sugar is required to make it. I have also thrown in a little oats to make it into a fibrous smoothie. So you can have this for a quick breakfast too. Use soft pitted dates so you will get a creamy milkshake.

- 3-4 ripe bananas
- 5-6 deseeded dates
- 3 Cups whole/full fat milk
- 1 Tbsp oats
- In a blender, slice and add ripe bananas
- Tip in the pitted dates
- Also add a tablespoon of oats if you like
- Pour in the milk
- Blend everything into a milkshake
- Pour into glasses and serve
You do not need to add any extra sweetener like sugar or honey as dates are naturally sweet
