It can be used as a base for savoury items like chutneys, gojjus and it can also be used to make sweets. In the Middle East, usage of sesame is on an other level! Tahini used in hummus, sesame halvah and what not! Indian cuisine uses sesame in the most unique ways. Here is one such delicious creation, til khoya ladoo or til ke bugge!
A rich and decadent ladoo made with oil-rich sesame seeds mixed with rich homemade khoya and sugar. How can that not be tasty! Tea-time snacks need to have variety but they cannot be deep fried snacks always. Something that goes with your favourite masala chai is definitely kottambir vadi. Kottambir vadi is nothing but loads of coriander leaves mixed with different masalas and made into tikkis. The specialty about these kottambir vadi is they are steamed like idli first then roasted on a tawa till crisp. Capsicum Masala | Capiscum Curry | Gravy Recipes

Creamy, nutty & mildly spicy, capsicum masala, colourful capsicum in a peanut gravy
09/16/2018 12:58:19 PM vindhyadesai

A delicious, creamy and nutty gravy with roasted capsicum dices is today’s recipe. Capsicum masala is a super tasty side dish for chapathi or rotis. It is easy to make and is so rich and creamy. It has some simple everyday spice powders to bring out the flavours. The lightly browned capsicum makes it extra special.
When I said it is easy to make, do keep in mind it does not get ready in ten minutes. Allow some time for frying and grinding the masala. But it is easy in the sense that you do not need to run to the grocery store to buy specialty ingredients. The steps can also be done in parallel. Fry the capsicum in one pan and get the masala ready on the other side. Capsicum masala is then a breeze to prepare. ... “Capsicum Masala | Capiscum Curry | Gravy Recipes”

Chakli or muruku is one of the most eternally loved savoury snack in India. In South India this is given so many flavours and made with many kinds of flours these days. A truly great snack and no compromise on the flavours. It’s savoury, mainly salty and hints of spices like ajwain and jeera in the background, a true winner.
At my home, it’s kodubale v/s chakli, with me loving chakli more 🙂 So what do you love more, kodubale or chakli? Of course no would ever deny eating them both if given an option. But for the sake of argument chakli is the best or kodubale, or both. So let’s settle on both. ... “Chakli | Mullu Muruku | Snack Recipes | Diwali Recipes”
