Recipes like cheela are simple yet they make your breakfast really hearty. Palak besan cheela is one of my favourites I started making in recent times. It is rich in protein and fibre, and what do I say about the flavour. Moreover it is instant and makes a quick breakfast.
Some simple spices like ajwain and jeera go into this cheela recipe and it makes the palak besan cheela simply great in taste. It is definitely a kid-friendly recipe, a palak besan cheela just before school and they are set to attend the classes! Just skip green chilli for younger kids.
Make sure the palak is fresh and crisp, just wash the leaves and chop them up and they are ready to be used. Palak besan cheela can be served with pudina chutney or ghee. Some tomato ketchup will also do!
