Come tea-time, these humble snacks are a tasty choice. Light and masaledaar, masala groundnuts very famous in condiment stores in Karnataka . A special mention has to go to ‘Subbamma Stores’ a condiment store in Bengaluru. The variety of snacks we get there are simply mouth-watering.
These snacks are quite simple to make and of course as always I try to bake snacks and not deep-fry them. They turn out so crunchy and even in terms of taste there is no compromise.
Try to use Kashmiri red chilli powder to get the characteristic red colour of these tasty masala groundnuts. I had run out of Kashmiri red chilli powder but still tastes heavenly. Try and avoid food colour if it is not natural or organic.
Try these roasted mung dal and baked nippattu. More bakery style snacks and tea-time snacks. Enjoy your break!
