Healthy, fibrous overnight oatmeal with bananas and some choco-chips for extra fun
Ingredients
  • ½ cup plain rolled oats/porridge oats/regular oats
  • 1¼ cup whole milk/almond milk or any milk of your choice
  • ¼ cup yogurt
  • 1 sliced ripe banana
  • 2 tbsp choco chips
  • 1 tsp honey
  • ¼ tsp good vanilla essence
Method
  1. In a bowl/jug, add rolled oats
  2. Add sliced bananas
  3. Drizzle in honey and vanilla essence
  4. Tip in choco chips
  5. Pour in milk
  6. Spoon in yogurt. Mix well
  7. As simple as that, mix really well. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Let the milk do the trick
  8. Next morning, you can see the oats have soaked up the milk and turned soft
  9. Give a quick stir
  10. Serve with more sliced bananas and top with a few choco chips if you desire
Notes
You can make this completely vegan, just skip yogurt and add any vegan milk of your choice

Add any kind of flavouring you like. Any fruit you like

This recipe can be easily doubled/tripled. Just add milk accordingly. It does not have to be exact. It can be how much ever liquidy you like it!
