Banana Split | Caramelized Banana Dessert | Dessert Recipes

Banana Split

Very recently we had some holidays and we had some time to pass. On one such lazy Sunday afternoon, I noticed some ripe bananas after lunch. The light bulb flashed and I made a banana split to beat the summer heat. It was one of those fancy desserts you could buy in fancy ice cream shops. Oooh, simply to die for!
This’s not much of a recipe to follow. It is a reminder to those folks who used to save money to go buy this delicious dessert during your school/college days. ‘Banana split’ is nostalgia, it will make you want to go and make it now! Just go by what your heart tells you to add to the your dessert.

Banana split has ripe bananas of course split and caramelized lightly. It also has ice cream, here I have used my homemade vanilla ice cream and store bought chocolate ice cream But you can use any flavour of ice cream, strawberry ice cream or tutti frutti ice cream. Top with some roasted cashews and drizzle with honey for extra lusciousness in your dessert! More such fancy dessert recipes:
