A bowl of soup is food for the soul. Soups are very comforting and satisfying. Spinach soup is one of those soups which can be simply gulped down with some garlic bread on the side or just like that. It is creamy, thick and very delicious.
Imagine the warm soup going down your throat after a long day at work on a cold winter night. So what are you waiting for? Go ahead and make this creamy spinach soup 🙂
Not only do you get the warmth from the soup but also the essential nutrients from the goodness of these beautiful green leaves. Using fresh spinach to make this soup makes the soup retain the emerald green colour of the leaves.
It does not require a whole lot of flavouring at all, some simple black pepper and salt seasoning will do the trick. With my spinach dishes I usually love to add a pinch or two of nutmeg/jaiphal as it goes really well with the flavour of spinach.
You can even add a dash of cream to make it extra rich and creamier but milk also will do the trick. Milk mellows the flavour of spinach and gives it a rich smoothness. Enjoy this creamy spinach soup and here are more soups from FOI! Also do try other spinach recipes. ... “Spinach Soup | How to make spinach soup?”

Aromatic herbs like mint, dill (sabsige) are added to make the dip even more delicious. Mint leaves can be cut into chiffonades (mint leaves stacked up, rolled and then cut into thin long strips) or the dill leaves can be finely chopped and added to the dip. Any part of a vegetable that is edible should be consumed in its organic form. Discarding good quality ingredients like stalks, peels, clean shoots or roots is probably a sin against Mother Nature and farmers. Consuming vegetables, fruits and greens in their purest organic form is the best way of eating them. Try to convert simple ingredients into nice, tasty and fancy eatables like the one here with beetroot and potato peels. Use organic ones and rinse them beforehand. These crisps will disappear in a jiffy and they are ready in a few minutes. Try other potato and beetroot recipes so you get to make these crisps by saving the peels! Gazpacho – Spanish Mixed Vegetable Cold Soup

Fresh, chilled mixed vegetable gazpacho – Spanish style summer soup
08/15/2016 10:14:26 PM vindhyadesai

Gazpacho is a cool soup made using finely chopped vegetables. Simple flavours are added like vinegar, black pepper and garlic. Use garlic sparingly, a small piece gives a great hum of flavour to the soup. It is great served at room temperature or slightly chilled. This is freshness at its best! Gazpacho originates from Spain with many variations that have evolved. Greek Gazpacho is also quite famous with added Mediterranean flavours like feta cheese, olives.
This is a healthy soup, with tomatoes and cucumber as the base. Some like it completely pureed and some like it chunky but the best way at least for me, is the soup blitzed till it is slightly pulsed but still has some texture. Save a few finely chopped veggies to add on top of your soup, that way you know what exactly you are tasting. Enjoy this super cool soup, read more about Gazpacho! This is Dish 3 part of the World Cuisine Series here on Food Of Interest.

The rice grains used in a risotto are round short variety like Arborio rice. These days you will find them labelled as ‘Risotto Rice’ available in cartons in supermarkets.
