The quality of a meal almost entirely depends on the side dishes and condiments that are served with it. They pretty much define your food! For a typical South Indian everyday lunch it will have saaru/rasams like menasina saaru (pepper rasam), carrot saaru and sambars like sorekayi kootu, Mangalore southekayi sambar. Rajma masala was one of the first recipes I had posted 2 years ago when I started FOI. A super yummy gravy recipe that goes well with roti or chawal. Usually I tend to make extra rajma so I can eat it with both roti and chawal. But sometimes we do get bored of roti and chawal. Different varieties of bread are made all over the world. I attempted making foccacia with whole wheat flour and here’s the verdict, whole wheat foccacia tastes really good. Indeed it’s a delicacy!
