Mango combined with ice cream is a match made in heaven. The taste of magnificent mangoes with the chilled sweetness of creamy ice cream makes this chilled drink very special! Mango mastani has ripe mangoes and vanilla or mango ice cream is a speciality drink from Maharashtra!
It is thicker than mango milkshake and has a big scoop of ice cream on top. But the most important thing is the addition of toppings. Toppings in the form of pistachios, tutti frutti, cherries take this mango mastani to another level.
Everybody will crave for this super fun mango drink. Mango mastani can be served with mango, vanilla or tutti frutti or even pista ice cream. Traditionally, vanilla ice cream is the way to go!
Make mango mastani with chilled full cream milk for the unmistakable creamy flavour. I have used sweet alphonso mangoes when shooting for this recipe. But any sweet pulpy variety will be nice. Use a long spoon and a straw to enjoy this thick eatable drink (pun intended)

- 2 chopped ripe mangoes
- 1 Cup chilled full cream milk
- 1½ Tbsp sugar
- 2-3 scoops or as required vanilla ice cream
- Few tutti frutti
- Few chopped pistachios
- Glace cherries as required
- Gather all ingredients
- In a blender add 2 ripe mangoes (alphonso)
- Add sugar
- Pour 1 Cup chilled milk. Blend till smooth
- Pour to glasses
- Top with vanilla ice cream. Place few mango pieces
- Sprinkle tutti frutti, chopped pistachios, glace cherries
- Serve chilled! Enjoy!

Mango Mastani Stepwise:
Gather all ingredients
In a blender add 2 ripe mangoes (alphonso)
Pour 1 Cup chilled milk. Blend till smooth
Pour to glasses
Top with vanilla ice cream. Place few mango pieces
Sprinkle tutti frutti, chopped pistachios, glace cherries
Serve chilled! Enjoy!
