Refreshing, cool, pudina raitha - an easy accompaniment for pulao/bhaat
Ingredients
  • A handful or ¼ Cup packed mint leaves
  • ¼ Tsp jeera
  • Black Salt to taste
  • 1½ Cups thick beaten yogurt/curd
Method
  1. Pick and wash ¼ Cup packed mint leaves
  2. Add ½ Tsp jeera and pound in mortar and pestle coarsely
  3. Add this to a bowl
  4. Pour 1½ Cups of thick beaten smooth yogurt
  5. Sprinkle rock salt to taste
  6. Serve chilled
Notes
Use regular table salt if you prefer
