Serves: 2-3 people
- ¼ Cup chiroti rava/small rava
- 2-3 Tbsp ghee
- 1 mango (1/2 Cup puree~)
- 2-3 powdered elaichi
- A big pinch of saffron
- ⅓ Cup sugar (or upto ½ Cup)
- 2-3 Tbsp milk
- Add rava into ghee and start roasting it
- Roast rava till it releases aroma
- Purée mango, elaichi, saffron, sugar
- Turn off heat on rava, add puree and mix well
- Next add 2-3 tbsp milk and mix
- Cook till done and liquid gets absorbed
- Add a little ghee on top!
- Garnish with cashews and serve, warm or at room temperature
I used Alphonso mango. Use a sweet variety with lesser fibre
Add sugar as per taste and as per taste of mango
Use full cream milk for a rich taste
Add raisins to the kesari if you want
